It's all true. I love the line about "like a bad boyfriend" and "you have to plan a week in advance what you want to wear".

Yeah, it's nice to be home and have a dyer again. Fluffy towels again. It's all about the fluffy.

My wife does laundry EVERY NIGHT. The washing machine is constantly going.

Back home, even with a live-in girlfriend, there'd usually be a 'laundry day' once a week, but for some reason it's now every day. Mystifying.

I think these people are doing it wrong...

I have never owned a dryer and have no idea why you would really need one. Clothes take about 12-24 hours to dry so as long as you don't leave it to the last minute you're grand.

I also don't understand how they are ruining their clothes. The only time I used a dryer was when I lived in France and had to use a laundrette. The dryer seemed to ruin more clothes than any washing machine I ever had.

There's some license in there for humor, of course.

God this drives me nuts. I'm perfectly fine with helping out around the house, I lived alone for a number of years and I'm used to cooking and cleaning. But I don't want to hang up laundry multiple times every f'ing day! She'll wash three pairs of socks and a towel, then a couple t-shirts. Mystifying is right.
