I am selling a used Canon 70-200mm f/4L. I have rarely used it because I usually don't shoot at this length.

yep, not a deal considering i bought a 2.8 for 900,000. u may want to rethink the price if you want it to move.

and getting your 2.8 at 900? that's ridiculously cheap. where did you get it for that? or is that how it usually is in korea for a lens like that?

You're rare going to get what a store is asking. There's no advantage to the buyer. If the merchandize fails or there is a problem, you can always return to the store. For independent buys it's more of SOL thing. Also with stores you can trade in gear to lower the price.

But, don't take offense. While the Buy/Sell trade board is notorious for it's low balling, in the end it's generally for the greater welfare of its members. And brings pricing to more competitive levels.

It's a give and take affair.

how old is ur lens? Im planning to buy the F4 IS version very soon, but i guess ur price for that non IS is a bit high.

yes that is the going rate for a 70-200mm f2.8 lens USED, 900,000 to 1 mil. bought in a store in korea. i have a hard time believing the f4 is that much but i guess you have check it out, im just surprised.

ill offer you 400,000 for it, I think that is a fair offer...i can get it new on gmarket for 650,000 and it is second hand.
