The Economist had this funny analysis of why the price of used corporate jets have risen in down times. The conventional thinking is companies would be trying to dump their jets and the price would be lower. The Economist speculates companies are listing their jets but listing them at an unreasonably high price. The C-level types can then say they're trying to unload the jets but there just aren't buyers. Sigh. Well, until they're sold, we'll keep on using them. |
