I found prawns in my freezer. They must be there at least 4 months, unless somebody is secretly sneaking into my apartment to place them there. The packaging has text that indicates a date:
제조년월 Jejonyeonwol
and
유통기한
I'm a bit suspicious because these two dates are 2 years apart. 2009 06 30 is the latter date. Don't know why I'm worried about prawns on a holiday night though. |

You are right, first one lists year and date of manufacture, second is expiration. |
