Curious as to what others would do if given a choice.
Situation - Do you select A or B, with all other things being the same. Original salary is well above average.
A: 120 hour schedule - 5 days a week
B: 100 hour schedule - 4 days a week but 400,000 won less on salary |

if it is the difference between 1.8 and 2.2, take the 2.2
if it is the difference between 2.4 and 2.8 take the 2.4  |

I'm worth A LOT more than 100,000 per day to teach, and the extra 20 hours you'll be teaching is at 20,000 per hour. B all the way, and then teach 2 hours of privates on that day to make up the difference. |

400k less a week or a month? If per month, that's 5k a won per hour! Even weekly, it's 20k won--not worth my time, and I doubt it's worth yours. |

Assuming B includes all benefits then, it is a much better proposition.
EG. A. 2.5mill per month + housing (400K)+ airfare (150K...2 x one way tickets/12 approximate) = 3.050/month for 5 days a week.
B: 2.1mill+400+150 = 2.650mill/4 days. 87% of the pay for 80% of the work.
Also, based 4 days a week work, you can get much more bang out of your vacation days. |

| Yeah you could have 4 days off for the next Christmas and New Year if you choose Monday off. |
