My question is quick:

Has anyone tried get an American Graduate School Recommendation from a Korean empoyler???

The reason I ask is because it looks like one would have to be pretty fluent in English to fill one out.

How have you guys dealt with the language barrier in

Typically, in Korea, you write the recommendation and give it to your Korean colleague to add in some more thoughts, then have them sign it. That's what I got my KET colleague to do, not because she's not fluent (i.e. she is) but because she didn't have time to sit down and write one.

Be sure to get a Korean signature and signature stamp at the bottom of your recommendation, so it is and appears official.
