if you work in the public school system, do you need to have a roommate or can you live alone?

No one lives with a roommate unless they request couples housing. If your recruiter tells you that you'll have a roommate, find a new recruiter.

Roomates is not a good situation and public schools will not do this to you.

The uni across the road from me actually puts three people to a house and I have heard some horror stories.

Some evil hogwans will try to put 2 people in the same place.
