Hello,
I just received my packet that tells me everything i need for the epik orientation and just found out i will need a residency certificate.
I will fax the application for the certificate tomorrow but after reading the instructions, I found out it COULD take up to 45 days. This means I might not have it before the orientation.

I talked with a person at Korvia recruiting and they said i should just tell the school that I will be receiving it shortly and then submit the certificate to the tax office when i receive it.

I just wanted to verify that this information is correct.
By the way, the US letter of residency is called a form 6166 right?

I'm not in Korea and waiting on my 6166 too, so I have no idea how the tax office in Korea might feel about turning it in later.
