I can't believe they brought back the same actor/actress for another horrible tourism ad on CNN/Discovery. This one is 10X worse than the first. Her pronunciation is atrocious.
They need to pull the plug on this, STAT.
I can't find a link, and trust me...that's a good thing. |

i don't know, i find the tourism commercial for australia much more annoying at this point. it's kind of creepy, the kid whispering in someone's ear- it reminds me of a horror movie. the whole mini-story approach (career-obsessed wife, marriage falling apart, australia will fix the whole relationship) doesn't work for me- the commercial doesn't even show any good, interesting pics of australia that would draw me there! |

Not only is her pronunciation poor, the content and premise of the commercial is odd at best.
Korean that has never seen snow before? What happened to four sparkling seasons?
Highlights are eating dokbogi and buying hanbok? Yea those are two definite reasons to hop on a plane and explore the magical land of Korea. |

I just saw this - commented on it's idiocy on the "Korea trying to improve it's image" post.
Dear god - it's all grey except for the hanbok cloth - snow? maybe they are targetting tourist from Singapore - come to Korea! it's cheaper than Japan and easier than China! shop at dongdaemun -that's just fukking ridiculous- dokboki is disgusting and not spicy (hmmm...but paying exhorbatant Korean airline prices to fly half way around the world to eat half cooked dough in Ketchup sauce is tempting) - this ad is completely illogical and will attract absolutely no one. Truly pathetic - worse than tourism ads for Alabama.
It's so simple: Korean girls walking around attractive part of seoul in miniskirts, beautiful granite pools and waterfalls in Seoraksan, cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, a couple temples and monks, some coastline, a sumptous looking meal, and some more girls partying and voile - tourists will come! they should hire me...... |
