A poster in the general discussion forum asked if everything is open for the new year holiday from the 24th-27th January 2009.
I haven't got a new calendar yet. I didn't know anything about this.
Are these 'red letter' days on the calendar i.e. days off work at public schools?
Will the shops be open on those dates, or if they are not red letter days I assume everything will be open.
Anybody know?!!! |

Just checked my calendar at school, monday and tuesday are national holidays i.e. days of school. Yipeeee.  |

Well, everybody on this forum keeps saying there are virtually no public holidays this year, so I didn't expect anything.
It's nice to know what's happening now though. |
