Either one is fine. Just fried my Tascam 4-track cassete recorder with the wrong adapter. Looking for anything to do some recording. Thanks.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, that would be the easy way, - although my computer skills beyond e-mail are sketchy at best. I also have a bunch of old recordings on cassette that I don't want to lose. I guess cassettes are the new 8-track, if your old enough to remember those. Thanks for the suggestion!

If you want to record directly from microphones, this will do 4-track:

http://global.gmarket.co.kr/challenge/neo_goods/goods.asp?goodscode=157565133&pos_shop_cd=SH&pos_class_cd=111111111&pos_class_kind=T&keyword_order=zoom+h2

It will do 2 track from line in.

It will record with manual volume control, compression or limiter, with multiple settings. Options extend to 96khz/24 bit four channel. Sound quality is excellent.

(Sorry, mine's not for sale.)

that being said Nagwon music arcade and Seoul folk flea market have hundred of tascam cassette 4's for sale. Elsewhere in Korea I don't know but you can always try ordering off ebay if they will ship international.
