Will the any of the ski slopes be closed during New Years? I've heard conflicting stories from people I've talked to. I tried going on the High1's website but it crashed my browser.

If anyone has gone skiing during the New Year, is it a good time to go or, is it insanely crowded?

Thanks!

I've been skiing on solnal before, and it's fraggin' wonderful. It's so quiet, you can only hear the snow melting. I would only trust someone who works at that skifield to tell you exactly what is happening, and, I would expect them all to be open for business. I would also highly recommend going to the best field you can afford in terms of money and time, and enjoying it completely. It will probably be good Saturday and Sunday, because those are the main solnal days for being with families, and then I'd expect it to start getting crazy-busy/dangerously crowded again Monday & Tuesday. If you have Wednesday off, I'd guess it'd probably be safe. (But don't quote me!)

Ah ohh - i just heard from a FriendWhoKnows that actually solnal is on Sunday and Monday, so Saturday and Tuesday will be the crazy traffic days, and the primo days for carving snow will be Sunday, Monday, and if you've got it, possibly Wednesday.

I heard from a Korean teacher that Sunday and Tuesday will be crazy traffic days Surprised Sunday afternoon probably not as much, but Sunday morning will be really bad..

They said that High one might be too far with the traffic and all (going away from Seoul) but I've had 2 teachers tell me to go to Gon ji am? They say its only 40 mins away from here (Guri). Has anyone heard of it? I've been trying to look it up but haven't had any luck ><

btw I'm going with akiakiaki..
