Do French rappers say 'est-ce que tu sais que je dis'?

Just an idea, but maybe you should ask in a French forum, if you know enough French that is: www.macoree.com

Also, it might be more something like, "Tu vois ce que je veux dire?" or "Tu comprends ce que je dis?"

No, I think they don't. What they do say is "vu?", meaning "seen?". But I haven't heard too many French rappers, just MC Solaar, Doc Gyneco, and a couple others.

Also, the equivalent for american rap's "peep" is guette, as in 'guette ma technique.'

Sais-tu/Savez-vous or Comprends-tu/Comprenez-vous ce que je dis.

Could be wrong. Long time no speak.

grammatically correct but no street talk.

French slang is a complete different language all together.

It's not racist--it's wisdom.

Probably because you don't have a clue what they are saying and how they are doing it.

Rap is actually very dependent on the youth culture, and since France has a complete different youth culture then America, I am convinced that they don't sound good to you, but the actually street rap that surfaces from time to time might actually be pretty good.

Your race/culture and the kinda music you sing goes together. Anything else sounds kinds funny. For example: Rap goes with black Americans, Reggae goes with Jamaicans, Arirang goes with Koreans, heavy metal goes with skinny white dudes. It would be kind of funny to hear a black American sing Arirang and it's kind of funny to hear Koreans sing rap.

I think it's more your culture than your race, but, yeah, I agree with you.

Here is Jero singing Enka, Japan's version of Trot. He is pretty popular there.
