I have been buying Bupa International private health insurance for the last few years, in case I get seriously ill or have an accident. Korean government insurance is good for small things but not for the big things. However, with the exchange rate the way it is now, it's much too expensive to renew it (around 1,800,000 won).

Does anyone have any experience of buying private health insurance in Korea? What are the costs? Is it difficult to do as a foreigner?
