Now is not the time for lighthearted posts, sir. At this very moment, somewhere in Korea, there is a foreigner being charged 16,000 won for oatmeal! |

Poor Robocop. His career is really in the toilet. |

Not if acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky has anything to say about it. He's directing a "re-imagining" of the seminal 80s classic.

Okay.
We open on a depressed, sad sack Robocop doing hack job commercials in South Korea (think Bill Murray in Lost in Tranlation). Kim Jong Il develops a super-kimchi powered Robo-monster that kidnaps Robocop's partner, a Seoul beat cop one week from retirement who moonlights as Robocop's agent and an Esl teacher using Robocop in Kindergartens to humanize English.
(shots of Robocop with cute Kindies on his lap, and he says "You will conjugate this verb! Or else!).
This just might work! |

That was pretty cool. Now I can add this to other funny Korean videos.
1. Mad T.V.'s Korean drama
2. Korean History Channel
3. Robocop Chicken
4. "Kicking it in Gumcheon" (Whatever it is.)
Wait, the "Kicking it" one was never funny. |

Why is Kickin' it on your list of funny clips? |
