Has anyone heard about when the orientation is this year? I'm fairly certain that it starts sometime during the week of Feb. 16th but I can't seem to find any information more specific than that.
Much appreciated. |

If I remember correctly, newbies are flying in on the 19th and being taken from the airport straight to orientation. |

I heard the EPIK orientation is at Dankook University.. a few hours outside of Seoul. New EPIK teachers are supposed to arrive on February 19. |

Feb 20 to 24 in Naksan (between Sokcho & Yangyang).
Thats for people hired directly by the province. A few others will come through the national orientation then join the Naksan group on the last day for dispersal to schools. Your recruiter will keep you informed. |

Good question. Among those not renewing, I'd guess a good few are opting to use leftover vacation time to leave early, but some will still need their apartments till the end of the month. I dont think its been fully thought through yet. Motel rooms for affected newbs their first few nights is one likely solution. |

Just for the record, the venue's now been changed to Osaek.
Still in Yangyang County but at a hotsprings resort in the mountains.
Same dates. |
