I've been searching the internet for a DVD Library software, but I haven't found anything that really fits what I want, and they are all either $29.95, or come from sites that look like they're the types of sites with viruses and adware.
So, I have around two thousand movies and tv episodes on my computer and on disk. Sometimes, I feel like watching something, but find that by time I search through all my disks, and find that I don't have that movie even though I thought I did, I could have just downloaded it. Often, also, I download something, only to file it and find out I already downloaded it.
Also, I often forget what some of the more independent and obscure movie's titles are. Some titles can be a little misleading. I mean, who would have thought 'The Spartans' sucks? That's an awesome title...
I want a program that I can enter all of my movie titles into, and then that program will jump on to Amazon or IMDB or something, grab the cover art, maybe a brief description, and let me more easily choose the movie that I want to watch.
I know some media center programs do that, but of all of them that I've tried, they only do that for the files that are saved on your computer, but don't store your DVD database.
Any ideas? Have you used any software like this that you liked? |
