I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for a certified teacher living in Canada who would like to go to Korea for a year to teach. I read a lot about how pay ranges vary, but what can I expect as a teacher with an education degree? Also, are March and September the only times to find good work? Can anyone recommend anything? |

Perhaps you could PM that thread's certified teachers; they'd be the best to advise you. |

I'm a certified teacher in Canada though I taught in Korea before getting certified. I'm here teaching now and yes the pay does vary a great deal. Generally the B.ed will just be another chip to get you a higher wage. Jobs are available all the time, its just the public schools that hire at a certain time every year. If you had any more specific questions feel free to pm me. |

Try international schools in Korea. I read that there are more than 20 international schools in Korea now. With your teaching certificate, it will be much better than working in any private schools. |
