Most places only seem to sell LCD tvs, but they sell samsung DLP sets in the states. I find they're the best bang for your buck image quality and size wise(60+ inches for under 2k ) and loved them in the states.
Does Samsung not sell DLP sets here? I've seen some older models but I'm not really interested in those(unless they can be had real cheap). |

Maybe try HiMart/ Technomart. They likely have them in the Samsung or LG Digital Plaza (botique shops) but will be grossly overpriced. |

Go to Yongsan station in Seoul, and look on the 2nd and 3rd floor in the electronics mart. |

Lots of places sell them. Just look for the thicker sets. The slim ones will always be Plasma or LCD. |

The stores I've tried still had some ridiculous prices and they were very old models....at least two stores refused to sell me them and claimed they were only for display.
I think they gave up on DLP locally and only sell them abroad....I only see older DLPs for sale...damn shame....Samsung makes some good DLPs in the states. |
