1. Flannels and looking like a lumberjack are still in style.

2. Karaokee is very popular.

3. Both places have 4 Seasons.

4. Very patriotic.

5. Being stared at for looking differet is still common.

What about your home?

I'm from Ireland (where i thought we had 4 seasons, but i was wrong)

1. We are both very small countries with a north / south divide

2. getting drunk is a past time in both places

3. our governments are always corrupt

4. We both continue to fight with our larger neighbours for a small bit of land that is of no use to us (korea = dokdo, Ireland = northern Ireland)

5. there are no homosexuals in either countries, if they are then they come from Japan or England Smile Smile

a collapsing currency
deification of anyone who wins a gold medal at the olympics
an overinflated sense of our national football team's talents
and many people leaving school without being able to speak or write english well!

i'm struggling to name any more though. in case you couldn't guess, i'm talking about england. the ireland comparisons are best.. england is japan, ireland is korea..

yup, we don't even realise we are a small country in the arsehole of nowhere, we think we are better and more important than everyone, give out about england at an opportunity and we send our relatives all around the world (but mostly new york) to spread the irish love.
