I will be leaving Korea soon and I need to transfer my money to Canada.
The problem is that I don't have a Canadian bank account.
How and where can I open a Canadian bank account while still in Korea? |

Wire the money to my bank account. I will then pass on the funds to my cousin Dodgy Dave, who lives in Canada. He will then give you some cash. Straight up - problem solved. |

First contact an HSBC bank account in Canada which is the nearest to the city you will be living in while in Canada. You can find their web site on
the world wide web.
Tell HSBC bank in Canada that you are in Korea and you would like an
HSBC branch in Seoul to assist you in opening a bank account in Canada.
Ask them what you should do.
Follow their instructions and go to an HSBC branch in Seoul who will confirm your identity for the HSBC branch in Canada and send the
paperwork via fax or post to HSBC in Canada.
Hope this helps you, FREEDOM |
