Can anyone tell me anything abou the city of Gunpo.. I'm thinking of applying for a job there. I'm not a complete newb, so please no comments on the disadvantages of small cities, I just want to know about Gunpo.. thanks a lot |

Gunpo's lots of fun if you're living in Sanbon. It's under an hour to Gangnam. If you're living by Geumjong or Gunpo station though, that sounds like no fun. Pretty much it's Sanbon or nothing. |

My parents in law live in Gunpo, so I spend quite a bit of time there. It's not a great area, but it's okay... It's about a 20 minute walk from Gunpo (station area) to Sanbon station and shopping/bar district. It's not my favourite place in the city - I find the 45 min commute to central Seoul a bit long - but it's not a bad place to live. |
