Just moved to Mok-dong and am wondering if there are any good gyms in the area?

Thanks for your help!

I don't know the area but I guarantee you that there are many gyms in the area. Ask other foreigners which gym they go to. Worst case ontario, you can always just walk around looking for one. Generally they have a sign that says "휘트니스" (I think that's right) and it's pronounced "hwee-teu-nee-seu". Fitness.

Look for tall buildings...I haven't seen any gyms on the ground floor yet....usually has fitness type stuff on the windows...within walking distance of my house is about 9 gyms...

Also some newer apartment complexes might have a decent gym you can go to.

I live in Mokdong and I have a membership to a great gym. It is about 70,000 won a month but the equipment is top notch and they actually have a squat rack and a full set of dumbells.

Its hard to find but it is on the same street as Costco just down several blocks and on the left. It is hard to see because you have to walk down a flight a stairs to get to it.

Let me know if you have any more questions. If you are already in shape I am looking for a lifting partner.
