For Sale:
Is a Samsung SGH-F480 Tocco phone (color pink) brand new with box. The phone is a 3G GSM phone. It will work almost everywhere in the world except Korea (unless you unlock it). It has a 5mp camera, an MP3 player, touch screen, internet capabilities and widgets like the new Windows Vista. It looks and behaves a lot like the Korean Haptic II phone. Many internet websites sell this phone between $350-420 USD plus shipping. This phone ranges from $330-400USD on EBay plus shipping. Will consider reasonable offers.
I am located by Jegi-Station line 1 (dark blue) in Dongdaemun-gu. Feel free to contact me by e-mail [email protected] or by phone 010-6875-3608. If I don't answer the phone please leave a text message and I will respond as soon as possible. -Karl

How can a GSM phone work in Korea? Roaming? Korea is 3G CDMA and CDMA/EVDO. |

I don't know much about phones. From what I understand it is 3g GSM. I know that the sim card can easily be changed. I know that Yongsan has guys that are pretty good with phones and electronics but I haven't looked into it yet. I hope that helps. |

That phone won't work natively in Korea. It doesn't matter which SIM card is installed or who tinkers with the electronics, it just won't work. GSM phones don't work on Korea's 3G/EVDO CDMA network. Depending on the frequencies it uses, it might be a good phone to use in other parts of the world, but not here. |
