| Does anyone know where all the good Daegu hakwon offers are? I'm trying to find a job in the Yeungnam university/hayang or susunggu areas. If anyone knows anything please message me as I'm having a hard time finding something. |

Yeongnam (I assume that's what you meant) is actually in the nearby city of Gyeongsan. The area of Daegu closest (about a 10 minute drive... no subway) is Siji. Cab ride is probably about 15,000-20,000 from city center.
Hayang is also a satellite city that has several universities, including Daegu University, but is also inaccessible by subway (some city buses do connect, like the 508). The nearest area in the city is Ansim. Cab ride from city center is probably similar to that above.
Suseonggu is an area a little south and east of the city center with lots of super-rich folk and four tons of hakwons. No direct subway access, but Beomeo is nearby. Cab ride from city center is probably around 5,000
Which area did you want again? And why? |

| Yale and Moon Kang academies seem to have the best reputations and both have centrally located branches. Avoid the usual list of chains (Wonderland, ECE, et al.). |

Preferably I'd like to teach anywhere aroung Yeungnam because my boyfriend goes to school there and it's the only way we'd be able to meet.
But I would accept working anywhere in or around Daegu at this point. As long as it doesnt take more than an hour to get there ^^; |

Actually despite the chain having a bad reputation, the Wonderland in Siji, Susung-gu is good, I used to work there a couple of years ago, and visited my boss again there last week. 2 minutes walk from the subway line.
His wife also runs another Wonderland on the Susung-gu side of downtown. Not sure if they have any vacancies though. |
