In November, 2008 the United Kingdom formally launched a new visa point system which will come into effect April, 2009. The changes announced have removed the former BUNAC scheme and the ability for US students or graduates to take on full time work or internship programs in the UK.
Global Experiences has been focused on these changes for the past year and has created a fully compliant Professional Internship Program for US citizens in London.
This new system requires that those wishing to take an internships must combine this experience with an accredited, academic course program and to be sponsored for a tier 4 pre-entry clearance visa.
