Yeah, I read that on Wikipedia. It was basically Nazi propaganda to show that Jews and Asians were inferior. They came up with it before the discovery of rhesus antibodies, which is why Koreans never care if you're positive or negative.

Incidentally, I like how the picture accompanying that article comes close to spelling BABO, with one extra A.

Yes, it was used as Nazi propaganda, but I think here it's more like a superstition. Honestly, I don't take it very seriously as a foreigner and I think the younger generation of Koreans don't either.

All my Korean friends in the US freak out when I say I don't know what blood type I am. Then they all try to guess based on my personality type. Ugh.

Further funny because this lame-brained theory came to Korea directly from Japan--especially in the 1980s.

"We HATE Japan . . . except for their way of thought, food, Oriental style, tea, architecture and city-planning, electronics, fashion, movies, karaoke, administrative structure, porn, tourists to Korea . . . . . . "

This inane "theory" does not account for Rh Factor. In other words, they don't care if your blood type is positive or negative. Good thing the medicos in Korea don't buy into it!

As a Sagittarius I find it hard to believe that there are only four personality types.

Koreans also think that the persons character is from the name
