My contract ends in August and I'm thinking about working in either China or Japan for a few months, and then come back to Korea for the March PS intake.
To anyone who has experience and/or knowledge of either of these countries; is it possible to find short-term jobs and short-term accommodation? |

Consider one term at a College in China. The term runs from Sept until around Lunar New Year i.e. about now. Let them know up-front you want one semester.
another option are private acadamies (WEB is one) who used to do things like that on "Business" visas.
I've been home a couple years though so might hunt for more info. check the China forum (I think you will be told no if you post in Japan forum.

I don't know about short term work in Japan, but for short term housing you can stay at a gaijin (sp?) house. |

Russia is good for short-term ESL at the moment (say if you are looking at a 3 month stint).
Not financially - but as an experience overall.
Basic housing will be provided and the wage will be low, but liveable. |
