Hey all, i'm leaving to thailand for 2 weeks on the 14th of february and i'm just having a last minute check on my visa.

i'm having a few last minute jitters about making sure the fuckers at immigration coorectly gave me a mulitple entry visa that i paid for when i went for my alien card a ways back

I have 2 stamps on my visa , which says single entry, bcasue as you know thats what it says when u get it at the consulate in canada, 1 big square stamp from the airport when i arrived, the other is a smaller, blue circle stamp from immigration... which my teachers say just says i got my alien card, nothing about multiple entry.... i'm curious if yours is the same and if that's pretty much ample.
I paid the 55 extra dollars or whatever it was and they told me that's what i was gettingbut theres nothing that says what i thought it should say.

If there are any canadians that could take a look at their passports and tell me if this little blue stamp is what you have as well, it would help clarify my situation.....thanks for the help

cheers

Depending in the immigration office you went to there should be another stamp or white stick-on added to another page with your re-entry permit.

If you don't have one, pop into immigration and get it fixed.

Here's my old multiple entry looks like:

It's a square stamp, inside this square, it says:

RE-ENTRY PERMIT
NO.___________. Status: E-2
Good for: MULTIPLE entry into the Republic Korea
Until__________ (expiry date)
Date of issue_________
Imm. office location

Now each office will have its different format, I think, but key thing to look for is: Single or Multiple....maybe your case it's not clear.

Why don't you ask a Korean teacher to call the office where you got your Visa and ask them whether yours is a Single or Multiple entry, maybe that will clear the confusion.

Problem solved

I went to immigration which was full, but busted up to the front and told them they made a mistake, which they gladly fixed and gave me the re-entry stamp, took like 2 min. Thanks for the replies.....
