So I've been an English teacher in the US for Berlitz and in Australia privately, but now I'm thinking of coming to Korea and this means (for the first time) dealing with a contract.
My biggest question is: if I do need to go back home, for some unforseen reason, what are the consequences? I realize that I will have to pay a part of the airfare, if they flew me out. Can/will they withold pay or inflict any legal consequences?
Also, I'm an American citizen but currently staying in Thailand. Do language schools usually provide airfare (if at all) from countries where you don't have legal residence/citizenship? |
