Hi :
I see by the date of your post that you've probably had a chance to settle in a bit but if you're still looking to meet other Suwon-ese, I'm game. I live in Homesil (spelling).......sw part of town I think.
PM me here with your contact details and maybe we can arrange a bite or a drink sometime.
Regards,
Art
p.s. Also you're welcome to join the social networking site I started for us at http://suwoneslanarchy.ning.com

This is not a big issue to me, Art, but I have a little commentary in regards to your response to the OP:
1) Someone's Dave's joined date often has no bearing on how long they have been 'in-country'. For instance, I was here for a couple of years before joining this site, but others have joined well in advance of arriving here (and some may never arrive at all ).
2) It's probably a bad idea to post your phone number on an open internet forum (I edited it out of my post in case you decide to remove it from your post later). Save that for PMs.
3) Just because the poster's username is "Josephine" doesn't mean the poster is actually female. 'She' could be a 65-year-old fat white guy with raging halitosis - not that there's anything wrong with that!
Take care,
caniff |

I should be on my way there very soon; I'll hit up this thread again when I'm settled in. The school is in Yeongtong.
Can't wait! |

I live near the World Cup Stadium in Paldal-gu. If you're in Yeongtong-gu then there is an ex-pat bar called NOW bar in Yeongtong-dong (go two blocks behind the Home Plus, then two blocks to the left - it's on the second floor of one of the buildings at the intersection); you can usually find a big crowd there most Wednesdays and Fridays. It's alright, although it can feel a little insular at times, but if you're looking to meet people then I'd recommend checking it out sometime. |

Oops, don't know how I brought that into this thread. Anyway, I just landed in Osan two weeks ago and would like to meet up with anyone that can speak fluent English for a nice change of pace . PM me if interested. |
