Hi I have landed a job with SMOE and have purchased my ticket (1 way economy class). I will apply for reimbursement when I get there.
How long does it usually take to get reimbursed? |

Mine took almost 3 months and I had to have my co-teacher call the district office about once every week or two...
Also get ready to get screwed on the exchange... You'll be reimbursed at the rate of exchange on the day you purchased your ticket, not the day they decide to reimburse you... Because they waited 3 months I lost $200 or so... And the rate has nowhere to go but down these days... |

It depends on who handles it: Your school, district or SMOE office.
Some people get it on their next paycheck. Other people have had to wait 4+ months.
You'll find that SMOE has very few clear and equal policies from teacher to teacher and school to school. |
