I search this site on the daily.
I hate to be the person clogging up with redundant posting, but I couldn't find a definitive answer...
Are CRC checks in from the US required to be FINGER PRINT based?
I know that FBI checks are finger print oriented. I am looking to get one from the PA state police but it does not look as though finger print checks for my purposes are an option.
I don't see anything at the NYC consulate or Kimmigration that states finger printing is necessary.
Can anyone tell me for certain that Finger prints are not required?

| had a state level check (washington state) without fingerprints submitted. all i did was do it online, get it notarized, and then send that to get the apostille. I had no problems; I just got my visa today. |
