Which of these airlines currently offers the cheapest, last minute tickets from Seoul to Los Angeles? I need to buy a ticket this week and don't want to pay up the nose.
Korean Air
Asiana
United
JAL
Northwest
Cathay Pacific |

I'll be heading to points south after I'm done here. If I go to Thailand to hang out for a couple of weeks, I'll probably be going back to the USA afterwards to jump through some visa hoops. The last time I checked, it was actually cheaper to fly to Bangkok and then to Los Angeles than to fly to LA from Seoul. It may still be.
I don't get my tickets from the downtown area in BKK. I use a little mom & pop in Minburi near Happyland. My last run to LA from BKK set me back about 19K baht, which was around 600 bucks. Assuming I can get to BKK for 300 bones one-way (wishful thinking) from Seoul, I'll still come out ahead going to LA via Bangkok. |

What are we, your personal travel agent?
I bought a ticket to Portland, OR, via Vancouver on Air Canada for under $500. It was so much cheaper than the next best, I'm guessing a connection to LA would still keep it less than the rest. Air Canada only flies a few times a week. |
