My family is flying into Seoul to visit me in Korea as is my sister's boyfriend from France. They do not want to stay in a love motel and most hotels I've looked up online seem to be full. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good/reasonably priced hotel that is not too far from Itaewon. I've checked the Hamilton and it was full according to the website for the 14/15th weekend.
If you can recommend some hotels, I'd really appreciate it. |

I'm not sure though, guess u'd better try some other site like orbitz.com, travelociry.com or so. I just looked up orbitz but unfortunately, yeah as you mentioned the Hamilton seemed to be full for the period.
But there is one thing u gotta know that most of Korean hotels charge way less for foreigner for sure.
I'm a Korean and have no clue why. However I can guarantee what I'm saying about.
I never think all the hotel rooms will be full by the time when ur family get here. Take a time to look for a better place and reasonable price.
I'm sorry for not giving you a healthy advice, but if u need any further help, PM me then I'm welcome to help you since I'm quite free for this moment.
My last helpful comment for you is that my bro's companies stayed at Rizt Calrton located in Yeoksam-dong, Kangnam for 180k won for a night during a weekend about 3 weeks ago. Not sure they do have similar room rate though at this time around.
Hope u don't have a hardtime getting an accomodation for ur family and they enjoy Korea and Seoul. |

Hyatt is pretty nice and you might be able to book a decent package on-line through a foreign site.
Just as well the Hamilton is full. For what it charges, that place is not up to par. |

The hamilton is crap anyway...tiny little overpriced rooms with no decent tv or internet.
The upscale motels near Namyeong are good. You can get large rooms with huge tvs and internet and jacuzzis for maybe a hundred fifty bucks a night, I think. Like Oni said. |
