Hello all,

I've been asked to check and see if a university is properly accredited. I'm not sure if there is an easy way to this, possibly a list to check it against. The university is " the adventist university of the philippines".

Does anyone have any leads?

Edit: I've discovered that it is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Anyone know if that's a real thing?

For those curious about what schools are accredited in the USA:

Thanks all for your responses.

I'm Canadian and while I'm sure the university is beautiful, I'm not about to enroll. I was just asking because I was asked to check it out as an applicant to our school has this school on her work resume.

Thanks again

Edit: It seems that Korean immigration has accepted the school... now, as far as I'm aware different schools are "OK" in different places. Perhaps this one is accredited for Korea, but maybe not bigger countries.

Chicken, how did you find out it wasn't accredited? I can't find it on their site. Of course, they probably wouldn't advertise that.

AUP is accredited as a Level III institution by the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges and Universities.

Maybe that passes muster for Korea.
