I know there is a McDs but that's not what I am lookin for. It needs to be real close to the station, quick... sandwiches are best I guess. No Quiznos or Subway hidden around there so...

There's a Subway Sandwich place at Naksongdae Station one stop away, but none around SNU station that I know of. Best you can do around SNU station is probably a PoonShikChip for some local eats.

I used to be up there sometimes as a bunch of my friends worked on campus and fairness dictated that we had to meet in their neighborhood sometimes, too. That whole area, from SNU down to Sadang, was pretty dead, though, so they didn't insist all that much. In fact, most said they wanted to get out of there for a good time. Most people chose to live a good ways away and just deal with the commute if they could afford it.

If things have changed, OP, let us know. Transporation wise, something around the subway stations would make it pretty convenient to downtown, Itaewon, Hongdae, and Kangnam. We're waiting to hear on another thread about rents around there, too.

Oh god; I work at Naksongdae...it's the worst place ever for food with SNU itself following a close second. I rotate between the same few restaurants every fucking week. Sigh.

Anyway, at Naksongdae there's a Dunkin', there's Subway, and across the street from both is a decent enough ja jang faux chinese place called Chinex.

If you're looking for korean food, pm me. There's a 5k won buffet that is like a cafeteria...good when it's good, meh when it's meh.

HOWEVER...the shining spot in this dump is a little traditional galbi place that makes a point to serve every type of leafy green. The place is delicious...mmm, galbi with mustard greens. Yumm. We don't go there enough and I don't know why.
