Might be true. I've heard much more outrageous claims by others about someone who was in the news at the time.

But there again, "I was KJI's chef but I have nothing particularly interesting to say about him" wouldn't help sell his book much. I suspect there's not a lot of chance that KJI would ever sue the guy either.

Half the fish I ate during my 7 years in Japan were still moving. Nothing out of the ordinary in that-at least by Japanese standards. It's good to be the king.
