I'm sick of rice and that bean sprout soup tastes both bland and sour at the same time. The rest of the crap on the lunch table was either fried and served cold, or was pickled and overspiced. I am going to be one grumpy teacher this afternoon and offering me sweets will not help.

If your apartment is within walking distance, claim you have high blood pressure so you have to pass on salty food and get permission to go home for lunch. You can also bring things like fruit or even something for the microwave. I too am finding I don't like the salty preserved food lacking fresh ingredients and healthy choices. Where are those Healthy Choice microwave lunches in the green box I normally eat for lunch? Heck, where are all those Con Agra products my factory worker brother produces when you need them most?

Doh! They don't export to Korea. Robot is hungry. Time to plug in for a charge. 97 posts before you see robot teacher avatar.

our school is out in the middle of nowhere, they would have to drive me home to my apartment and back, so that's unlikely to happen. Most of the time, there's something to eat but today, I'm feeling totally strung out with the hunger.

By the time I finished teaching my afternoon class, I was hungry to the point of tears and I finally insisted that someone take me somewhere to get something edible. I know that they don't like for me to do this, but I was desparate.

The vice principal took me to the supermarket. I bought crackers and an apple. The apples here are enormous. I usually slice one up and eat it slowly. This time, I bit right in and polished it off in no time. They found me some peanut butter for my crackers. I shared this with my coworker. He's a big guy and he ate less than I did today.

Those crackers probably saved a few students from being eaten alive by hungry teachers.

Looking on the bright side of things, I have lost weight!

My god, suck it up and then start packing lunches. I just couldn't imagine going to my boss and asking him to drive me to the supermarket because i'm hungry. You act as though you are 5 years old!
