If you're applying, or going to apply to the TaLK program for this year, you should keep in mind that you will only be able to work a maximum of one year for TaLK. Some of the TaLKer's I met during the winter break were disappointed about that. The Guardian article did not mention anything about that. And I met a few TaLK teachers, who were not of Korean descent, so that won't stop you from applying.
