Hi,
I have my first phone interview with a recruiter today. Any advice on what questions I should ask or need to ask?
Thanks |

it is not so much what you ask as
what you tell them.
Tell them you are looking for a job with a set number
of work hours every day. No Weekends. Set overtime pay.
Number of foreign teachers working with you.( it helps if you
aren't the only on there.) Ask to email with a COUPLE (read not few)
of the current and former teachers of the school. And ask to see pictures
of the apartment, and ask how far from the school it is. Even after all this
though working in Korea is still a craps shoot as the school can change it
all on you. Try to speak with someone from the school and not just the
recruiter. Good luck. |

ditto OP.
emphasise, talk to current and past teachers from the school. past are better since they cannot be threatened by the current admin.
make sure they were paid travel fare, severance pay, and had pension and insurance paid, tax only at 3.3%
do not take the recruiter's word for it. you will get screwed. |
