This morning I recieved a letter from the Gangwon province of education informing me of my position with EPIK and enclosing my contract and notice of employment. Problem is I withdrew my application to EPIK with my recruiter a week ago. (I'm working somewhere else).
I did however scan a copy of my passport and a few other docs including my degree certificate and email them to my recruiter. NOTHING has been sent in the post and I haven't scanned my transcripts or criminal check.
So anyway this evening apparently I recieved a call from the Gangwon office of ed and they left a message saying they will call this evening.
Obviously i'm really concerned now, i've accepted the other position, signed my contract and posted all my docs to them. There is no way I could fulfil the EPIK position and I know they can't really make me (as I mentioned they don't have my docs and I haven't signed a contract). My main concern is that this will interfere with the visa issuance proccess in korea as obviously EPIK is a govt programme. Aaaggghhh |

Not a problem.
When they call, just politely answer that you've taken another position, thank you. |

Just ignore them.
If they tell the other recruiter that you have declined they might get nasty and cause you problems at immigration. |

| Do not under any circumstances tell them who you will be working for. If you used a different recruiter, don't share that either. It's none of their business and they might feck with you just out of spite. Other than that, as the others said, "Thank you for your interest in me, but I've accepted a position elsewhere." When they ask where, say, "China". |
