Bar Crosby
There seems to be a consensus that this was the first shop to open on this thoroughfare. A real old-school bar, Bar Crosby boasts an extensive array of liquor and a massive collection of ragged LP records.
From whisky to wine, to elusive cocktails like grand mimosas and southern champagne, this first generation bar is a great place to hang out and tip back a few. Not to mention, Crosby gets brownie points for offering complementary cigarettes, both thin and thick, for those who want a smoke. Just dip your hand into the shot glasses filled with them on the counter.

Ta:bldout satiates visitors with pastas, salads and sandwiches. In keeping with the tradition of the area, owner Song has a respectable wine list. But what makes this place worth going to is the fact that there is no cork charge.

Cafe 607
Run by a design company, this stylish establishment serves up picture-worthy fare. From pancake sandwiches decorated with potato smiley faces to baby waffles in ice cream, this cafe keeps food creative.
With winter on the way, try their vin chaud, a cinnamon, lemon and honey infused mulled wine.

Norang
Norang mixes it up with a gallery on the basement floor, a cafe on the first floor and a bistro on the second floor. Serving everything from pasta, steak to crabcakes and foie gras, this establishment attracts housewives by day and the young and hip at night.
Hours are from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., except for Sundays. Pastas cost 13,000 won to 16,000 won, meat dishes from 32,000 won to 38,000 won and coffee drinks from 5,000 won to 6,500 won.
