It WAS playing in Avatar in Meyong-dong but not anymore (I think).
I just watched it with no subtitles... I think the movie can easily be followed with no Korean skill. |

Looks like it will be shown at Cinecore in Jong-no next weekend (saw it there a couple of weeks ago). Hopefully it's been well-attended and this 'Korean movie cinema with English subtitles' will be an ongoing thing. |

| Since we are on the subject, do most Korean DVDs have English subtitles available? |

| Yeah they do. Every one I have ever rented has had them except Shiri. Perhaps that was an early DVD before they realised such things would be useful. |

I went to see Taegukgi in ZOOOOZ in Kangnam, with subtitles. I wanted to see it in Megabox in COEX (nicer theatre), but they were only playing the subtitled version on Sunday there, don't know if it changed no (this was a couple of weeks ago).
All of the Korean movies I've rented on DVD had English subtitles. |
