I am looking to find a subway map and city map of the city of Osaka in Japan. Does anyone have one, or have a link to a website that has one?

I am planning to travel to Osaka on January 22nd. I am also trying to find cheap accomadations. Any suggestions? I have been told that you can find a cheaper place to stay if you just go to a hotel when you get there. I have priced most places and they run about 5000 yen or more.

5000 yen is quite cheap for a hotel in Japan... Even a night in a youth hostel costs 2000-3000 yen.

from the airport, take the bullet train to namba station. the korean embassy, nightlife, hotels, etc are all outside this station. there is also the shinshabashi area nearby.

the cheapest places you will find are capsule hotels. give it a try. just ask around -- i can't remember the exact address. there are several off the main street in namba.
