Back home I lived 4 miles from the Indian Reservation that had a small casino... used to go there once a week with some friends with 20 bucks and play blackjack.

Haven't played in well over a year and today I have the itch... does Seoul have any casinos? I'm going there in 2 weeks! I know busan has the 7 luck casino.

What other "itches" do you guys get from back home that you can't do readily here in Korea?

Horseracing. While there's a racecourse in Seoul, it's in Seoul, and it's spendy. Back home, you could go to Dinkyburg Racecourse and drop a couple bucks on some glue factory reject. Here, they don't do it.

Spendy?

It's a couple of thousand won to get in, and you can bet as little as 1000 won on each race. It has its own subway station on line 4 so getting there doesn't cost much. Food and snacks aren't expensive either.

The foreigners room is just a seating area with a desk at the entrance where they give you an English language racecard and a leaflet on how to bet. It doesn't cost any extra.

Are Koreans allowed in the "foreigner's room"?

You are allowed to take one Korean with you for translation purposes I believe.

I'm pretty sure you can bet as little as 100 won per race. You should check that out but I'm pretty sure its a 100 won minimum.

Doesn't Walker Hill still have a casino? I was there last about four years ago, but it's pretty big - lots of blackjack tables. However the people there can be a drag.
