Long Distance Relationships between here and the U.S. what are the odds of making it til the end of your contract here?

Bout the same as having one to many at a pub one night and waking up naked with two pretty decent looking women. It can happen, but for most, it doesn't.

To preface the rest of my point, I would consider myself to be a romantic at heart. That said, why would you even put yourselves through it?

Going to different universities or living a few hours away from one another is certainly one thing (and a commendable one at that). But living on the opposite side of the planet? For a year or more?

Let it go, man.

Illy, if you're used to being alone, this won't be a problem. If you've always had someone else around, then it will. Simple as that.
