I was in the middle of a lit. review today on burnout / vicarious trauma and I came across this:

"Six areas of organizational life connected to burnout:

1. Workload
2. The amount of control people have in their jobs
3. Rewards and regognition systems
4. Responsiveness to staff needs.
5. Respect and fairness
6. The fit between organizational and individual values about work."

Seems like English teachers in Korea would make for a very interesting study on burnout~~
