Are you using 001?? Isn't that really expensive???

A Korean friend told me about this website:

www.ssancard.co.kr

It's all in Korean, but they have lots of cheap telephone cards. You can check the cheapest rate to any country from mobile-mobile, mobile-fixed, fixed-fixed, fixed-mobile and then just buy it online, they will send you the access number and your card number by email.

I tried SK card, quite cheap and good quality.
Wouldn't recommend One & One, very cheap but difficult to get a connection.

I'm sure a Korean friend/co-worker will help you!

I found using the cell phone to call is the cheapest - if you dial 00700-61-2 +local number

I am with SK - not sure if 00700 works on all cell phones....

Yeah, buy a phone card, about 80% cheaper than land lines(which are super expensive in Korea). I'm in Australia at the moment and am ringing Korea for about $2.00(2000 won) an hour by phonecard, i think from Korea they offer it for (5 to 6000 won an hour, the same company.
