So I arrived in Korea on Thursday. Since then, I have sporadically felt nauseous and woozy, almost to the point of passing out. Is this:
A. Jetlag
B. My body reacting to the different native bacteria in Korea
C. My body reacting to the extreme filth in Korea
D. All of the above |

Adjustment to a different environment.
If you lived in a relatively clean, moderate environment like Seattle, you would move to Houston and be knocked on your ass by the pollution and the heat. Likewise, if you moved from Houston to Seattle, you would be winded by the dry and the cold.
You're going to need to fight through it for a couple of weeks at least. The air, the food, the elevation, possibly even the latitude are all drastically different here. The recruiters don't tell you that part. |

The correct answer is "D."
Don't worry, it's normal.
I'd recommend:
-drinking lots of bottled water,
-Eating lots of 된장찌개 (dwen-jang cheegay, a kind of miso soup), and rice, and kimchee
-Don't smoke cigarettes much, or drink the crap instant coffee
-Drink green tea
-Avoid breathing the air
-Don't eat anything you find on the subway
-Don't lick anybody
You'll probably be ok in a week or so if you follow the above recommendations. |

jetlag should have passed by already. No more than a day or two (or three at worst)
how about
E. None of the above, I am a weakling and genetically predispositioned to be the first of the species to die off in case of any change in the immediate environment. |

D- All of the above.
Give yourself a few weeks to fully adjust. New environment, new food, new habits, stress and excitement. |

Option C makes it sound like you're suffering from a little culture shock. Jet lag will be exacerbating things if you've come from the western hemisphere or Europe. Drink a lot of (bottled) water and maybe get some sleeping pills from a pharmacy. The over the counter Aron or Sleepal are both pretty effective. Try to get to be in bed by 10:30 during the week.

a normal person needs about 1 day for each time zone crossed.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_lag
for many of us that means 8-12 days |

All of the above.
Drink lots of tea, water, and juice. Eat well. Get lots of sleep. Vitamin C.
It will pass.
I usually hack up a lung my first few weeks here, and/or get a sinus infection.
Good luck! |

3 days and the the aftereffects would never be as severe as nausea and wooziness. Feeling a lack of energy and generally being tired is a different thing altogether.
I'm sticking with E.
marked as one of the first in his species to die in case of any change in the environment.
just the (bad) luck of the draw. Some dinasaurs died right away, others died later. He would have been the first dinasaur. |

Actually, yeah...you're right...wooziness and almost passing out is a bit much...I figured it was like a bad cold, or maybe 'flu, plus the other stuff.
Maybe you're right though, maybe a doctor isn't such a bad idea. They can be kind of rough on newbs though, k-doctors can...what with the inevitable shot of mysterious anti-biotics for no good reason...then again, it might be bronchitis or tonsilitis, in which case anitbiotics would be good, i suppose. |
